Turns out it’s the time of year when we spice up our love lives and get busy with the business of pro-creating.

Late September and early October are the busiest fortnight in the year for babies being born in England and Wales. Count back nine months and we’re right back here and now, as Christmas and New Year celebrations begin.

If previous year’s trends are anything to go by, the last two weeks of September 2017 will be full of new babes (literally!) on the scene. Over 1,900 a day…compared to only 1,349 on Boxing Day, the lowest birth-day of the year.

So, if you’re wondering whether to add another little Diddy to your family, seems like this is the optimal time of year to take the plunge!
